We appreciate your clarification, and we appreciate your analysis. Are you suggesting something fairly abstract? Academic? That the hunger of zombies represents an alagory for the existential dilema of man?

A friend and I got into an argument over whether full-auto guns are better than single shot [but still semi-auto] in the case of the Zombie uprising, what's your opinion?

griffshot

Single-shot, with out a doubt.  I refer you to the Zombie Survival Guide:

have u played the game left 4 dead

Personally I have not, but some of our contributors at The Inevitable Zombie Apocalypse have.  I’m a big fan of story-based games, but not so much the shooters.  However, let me ask you: am I missing something?  Should I play the game?  What other Zombie games kick ass?  Thanks!

Hey there, thanks for the good question!  We’re all about surviving The Inevitable Zombie Apocalypse, so to that end we’d love you to be as informative as possible: links are great, but so too are pictures and video.  But mostly we’re just happy that you’re here and enjoying the site - thanks and feel free to contribute!

Have you started building your anti-zombie shelter yet?

doublecherry-pie

Damn.  God damn.  That’s a damn good question.  Anti-zombie shelter is a topic under-reported by The Inevitable Zombie Apocalypse.

We’ll do some hunting - and please do post your suggestions.

Any pics of your weapons for the Zombie Apocalypse? I know my household is ready when shit pops offffff

Your questions answered!

tacticalzombie:

loocifar asked: imagine the zombie revolution begins: where would you go to set up camp?

- i would set up camp in your house, after i eat your brains. if you have a nice house anyways. otherwise.. idk, wal-mart?

iburytheliving asked: What kind of bear is…

Would zombies eat vampires? This is via a raging debate from last night with my room-mate.

iamcontroversy

Yes.  Zombies would and will - metaphorically and literally - devour the Vampire (read: emo) wussies.

Vampire: “Meh, look at me wine about dark love of the immortal blah blah blah cry cry cry…”

Zombie: “Om zom nom nom! Vampire brains taste like people brains!”

Would zombies be able to live on the moon? They are dead, so I assume they do not need air. It also has been argued, and proven, that zombies can survive underwater.

quinn1415

Well, technically zombies don’t ‘live’ anywhere ;) but your point is well-taken.

In the Max Brooks universe of zombieness (considered somewhat authoritative these days) the undead walk across the ocean floor, as you indicated.  So, to that end I see no reason zombies couldn’t ‘live’ on the moon.

But I ask you this: what would the low pressure and lack of gravity do to a zombie?  Crush the zombie?  Or perhaps help zombies ‘fly?’  Now THAT’S terrifying.

I all the zombies ate everyone in the world, what would they eat?

rolling-ringo-on-roller-skates

Cute bunnies, flowers, and sunshine.

First, I don´t think the infected people on 28 days later should count on this, not because they are not technically zombies but because you don´t need to destroy their brain in order to kill them. Conventional military weapons or starvation could finish them.
Second, of course running zombies, ala Dawn of the dead´s remake, would be more dangerous than old school ones, but there is something about classic Romero´s zombies that scares the shit out of me, it´s something absolutly subjetive but the idea of the slow zombies moving relentlessly towards you is more terrifying to me than the idea of fast ones.

blacksunblackson

Okay, damn dude - you’re throwing down some serious shit here.

Love it - let’s get serious, eh?

…not that I disagree but as there are various ‘worlds’ and associated rules with each world.  I think we can all agree that the ‘modern’/Rage zombie is terrifying but not exactly within the confines of the classic zombie.

I agree that a relentless, if slow, mob of zombies is a pretty damn terrifying thought.

But so too is a fast, pissed mob of zombies!

And, at the end of the day, what the fuck?  We’re talking about zombies here?  Really?  Undead, walking, rotting, humans who feast on the gore of other people.  No need to get that hung up on rules and protocol, right? Right.

Thoughts?  What do you guys think?
